Alhamdulillah, let us all express our highest gratitude to Allah SWT because with His bounty, we can continue this life and carry the trust given to us.

Menteri Besar Kedah Incorporated (MBI Kedah) was given a new lease of life in 2008 under the administration of the then Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Dato ‘Seri DiRaja Ustaz Azizan Abdul Razak. It’s known as Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kedah (PMBKed). Even if the name and image change, MBI Kedah must aim to be part of the catalyst for the state’s economy by not excluding the majority of the people.

Economic opportunities must always be seized, technological advancement must be mastered and always at the forefront in efforts to develop the company and at the same time be able to benefit the community out there. I was always repeat, make this Kedah state a “Place for the Rich to Devote and a Place for the Poor to Shelter”.

MBI Kedah activities must also be in line with attracting as many investors and then return the proceeds of the prosperity to those in need through welfare programs, donations, assistance, joint ventures and so on. I hope MBI Kedah does not deviate from the track and can also contribute to the development of the state. Do not just chase project figures but the results are wrong. The economic opportunities available in the mining, investment, plantation, livestock, energy and many sectors are able to generate good income and revenue, however, all activities implemented must be preceded by sincere intentions and place trust at the highest level.

MBI Kedah must be able to be independent and in turn help others to develop economies. This is where the wisdom of MBI drivers lies in driving in the direction that MBI Kedah should go.
